Cllr Hutchinson refutes article in Sunday Paper
The Sunday World today printed an article implicating myself in discussions in which I would not be involved, and I refute any such suggestion. I do not read the paper in question, but this has been bought to my attention by many people.
I want to make it crystal clear that the work I am involved in, is through the Unionist Group in Belfast City Council and our remit is around our community’s views on cultural celebrations. Parades are not part of that remit.
I am working to improve the lives of people in my DEA and the people of Belfast in general that is what I was elected to Belfast City Council to do and that is my focus.
Any assertion that I have been involved in any discussions on Parades, or demands on Parades is at best mischievous, but again the Paper in question has never been truly factual in its reporting.
